Classic chocolate chip cookies
Required ingredients:
- 150g chocolate drops;
- 400g high quality flour;
- s alt (to taste);
- 130g coconut oil;
- 2 teaspoons baking soda;
- 2 teaspoons cane sugar, vanilla;
- 250g granulated sugar;
- one egg.
Cooking process:
- In the required container, mix sugar, s alt and vanilla.
- Add butter and flour to the mixture, mix with a whisk.
- Then pour the egg into the mixture and knead the dough with your hands.
- Gently add the chocolate pieces to the finished dough and stir with a silicone spatula.
- Roll the dough into small balls three centimeters in diameter.
- Cover a baking sheet with parchment.
- Put the balls ona baking sheet in a free order, but not closely among themselves. You can press them down a little.
- Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes.
Christmas cookies with nuts
Ingredients (for 15 pieces):
- 400g chocolate drops or chunks;
- 450g high quality flour;
- 150g finely ground cane sugar;
- 1 teaspoon baking powder;
- 100g melted butter or coconut oil;
- 50g baby applesauce;
- s alt (to taste);
- 1-2 chicken eggs;
- 250g medium ground walnuts.
Cooking instructions:
- Mix the sifted flour with soda or baking powder.
- Beat applesauce, sugar, s alt, oil in a bowl using a blender or whisk. Then add eggs to the mixture, beating constantly.
- Then add flour to the bowl and mix until smooth.
- Add chocolate drops and walnuts to the dough, mix gently.
- Use an ice cream scoop to form balls and place them freely on the baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 16 minutes.
- The cookie will be done when it darkens around the rim but remains soft in the center.
Analogues of chocolate drops
If for some reason you cannot find confectionery drops in stores, you can use chocolate pieces instead or prepare such drops yourself. Confectionery drops can be used not only in the preparation of cookies, but also in various desserts, homemade cakes.
If there is no time to shop and prepare drops, a simple chocolate bar can be crushed in a blender or by hand, the size of the pieces is determined independently. Great taste comes from a combination of milk and dark chocolate or white and milk chocolate.
