Then the lids are rolled up, the jars are turned over, covered and left to cool for a day. After that, they can be put in the cellar or pantry. If all the steps are followed, then the dogwood compote, the recipe of which we have just reviewed, can be stored for a long time, for 2 years, and not lose its beneficial qualities and taste properties. Yes, clarification: when boiling jars, try to keep your water bath from boiling too much. Otherwise, the compote will boil and evaporate strongly, a lot of liquid will be lost.
