To make a drink from basil, you need to take 5 sprigs of this fragrant plant and peppermint. Rinse them under running water, separate the leaves from the branches. In a carafe for water, put chopped mint and basil leaves, slices of half a lemon on the bottom and pour boiling water (0.5 l) over all the ingredients. Cover the decanter with a lid and let it brew for 30 minutes. After that, add another 1 liter of water to it, add honey or sugar to taste.

Watermelon drink with basil

This truly summer drink turns out so tasty and fragrant that it can easily replace a full-fledged dessert. To prepare it, you need to take leaves from three sprigs of basil and 4 cups of watermelon pulp. You will also need some lemon juice (1 tablespoon) and 800 ml of water.
