In a carafe for water, put chopped mint and basil leaves, slices of half a lemon on the bottom and pour boiling water (0.5 l) over all the ingredients. Cover the decanter with a lid and let it brew for 30 minutes. After that, add another 1 liter of water to it, add honey or sugar to taste.
Watermelon drink with basil
This truly summer drink turns out so tasty and fragrant that it can easily replace a full-fledged dessert. To prepare it, you need to take leaves from three sprigs of basil and 4 cups of watermelon pulp. You will also need some lemon juice (1 tablespoon) and 800 ml of water.
Grate the basil and watermelon pulp through a sieve to get a thick juice. Add lemon juice and water to the resulting mass. Stir, and you can assume that a summer drink of basil and watermelon is ready. Now it needs to be poured into glasses and can be served.
