Until the beginning of the 20th century, coffee was considered exclusively a drink of aristocrats because of its high price. Later, it became more affordable, and is now an invariable attribute of breakfast. Currently, coffee beans are imported into our countryin large quantities from Brazil, India, Argentina and other countries. We have prepared for you three of the most original dessert recipes, where coffee is the main ingredient! We must say right away that in order to obtain a quality dessert, one should adhere to the given recipes. Otherwise, the products may be too liquid or, conversely, thick.

Coffee jelly: three layers

All the ingredients of this light dessert are sure to be found in every housewife's kitchen. It consists of three different layers, has an original appearance and exquisite taste. We will prepare it as follows.

Top layer:

  • ½ tsp sugar;
  • 1/8 tsp agar (powder);
  • a small pinch of tea;
  • 50ml water;
  • 1 tsp heavy cream.

We make tea, after it is well infused, we filter it. Combine sugar with agar, add to tea, stir well. We put on the smallest fire and heat until the components dissolve. Remove from heat, add coconut milk to the mixture and mix very quickly, because the agar sets instantly. We take a beautiful glass that has the shape of a cone, pour the resulting mixture into it.

Mid layer:

  • 1 tsp cocoa (powder);
  • 100ml water;
  • 25 g sugar (maybe a little more);
  • ½ tsp agar;
  • 2 tsp fresh coconut milk (1 tsp.cream).

Mix agar powder and sugar. In a small container, bring water to a boil, add the resulting mixture and cocoa powder to it. Mix well until the components are completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add the milk component to the resulting mass. Pour carefully into the glass on top of the first layer.

Bottom layer:

  • ½ tsp agar;
  • 2-3 tsp coffee (ground) + 120 ml water;
  • 20g sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. l. coconut milk.

For coffee jelly, mix sugar with agar, boil water separately, remove from heat, add coffee to it, mix the drink well and leave for a while to develop the aroma. After that, put the drink in a small container on low heat, add a mixture of sugar and agar and heat until they are completely dissolved. If the mass, in your opinion, turns out to be too thick, you need to add a little water to it. Then we remove the mass from the stove, add cream to it and pour the last layer into a glass. Place in refrigerator.

The jelly prepared according to this recipe is very stable. In the event that you prefer a softer jelly, you can reduce the amount of agar by half or use gelatin to make dessert.

Today we will tell you how to make a refreshing Japanese dessert. The best way to serve it is in beautiful glass glasses. In addition, the prepared jelly can be poured into a plastic container or baking dish, and thenslice. Any shape is suitable: for example, cubes or sticks. In a small saucepan, combine gelatin with water and heat over moderate heat, not forgetting to stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. After that, add sugar, coffee and mix until the sugar dissolves. Remove from fire and cool for 5 minutes. Next, pour coffee jelly into beautiful molds or other containers. Using a spoon, remove excess bubbles from the surface of the dessert. After the dessert has completely cooled, cover it with cling film on top and put it in the refrigerator for four hours. When serving, if desired, decorate with whipped cream, mint leaves and a small coffee bean.

In the modern world there is a huge variety of diets, but the diet of Pierre Dukan, a well-known French doctor, is one of the most common. Today we offer a recipe for milk coffee jelly, which is within the limits of this diet. For work we need:

  • glass of milk;
  • 2 tbsp. l. coffee (solution);
  • 20g gelatin;
  • 3 tbsp. l. sweetener;
  • glass of water;
  • vanillin - on the tip of a teaspoon.

Step by step recipe

For cooking:

  1. Take chilled boiled water, soak gelatin in it. Then we dissolve it in a water bath until a homogeneous consistency, without lumps.
  2. Let the milk boil (do not boil for too long), add all the vanillin and ½ part of the sweetener to it. After it cools down, add half the amount of gelatin.
  3. To make coffee jelly, first brew coffee, add the rest of the gelatin and sweetener to it. Let the mixture cool down. To prepare a dessert, it is best to use natural and freshly ground coffee. But if you do not have one in stock, a packaged one will do.
  4. We take a beautiful tall glass or glass and alternately pour multi-colored jelly, while it is necessary to let the previous layer harden a little. Their thickness and quantity can be adjusted as desired.
