Childhood is long gone. On the day off, you wake up and remember, as in a well-known joke, that “mom is me.” You trudge into the kitchen, where, at best, nothing smells. At worst, the husband again left a full ashtray on the table, and a dubious spirit is in the air. You take out a box with the already familiar dry breakfast (Europe got us hooked on this unhe althy, but convenient food). What else? A bowl? Milk? I do not want! I want delicious, homemade, traditional. I want "good morning"!
Pancakes, such as in childhood, I have not been able to reproduce. Lush, flavored with condensed milk, insanely delicious - let them remain a pleasant memory. In addition, in the sweet, alas, you already have to limit yourself. There is neither endurance nor desire to pamper the family, and at the same time show miracles of willpower. In addition, I understand that children need to be fed with something useful (I still remember that “I- mother ). No one has come up with anything more useful than oatmeal porridge for breakfast, but try to explain this to the children.

But there is always a way! Oatmeal pancakes are what I need. Incredibly delicious fried cereal pancakes with sour cream! All hares are killed at once: I feel like a skilled housewife, treating my loved ones with a delicious homemade breakfast, my figure does not suffer, children are happy with pancakes, by definition, even my husband is pleasantly surprised by the unexpected taste of this unpretentious dish. And my parental consciousness, proud that children eat oatmeal for breakfast, peacefully turns a blind eye to the dubious benefits of pancakes created on a bouillon cube.
So, oatmeal fritters. We need: 1 cup oatmeal flakes, 1 egg, 1 bouillon cube (meat or chicken).
In a glass of boiling water, dilute the cube until completely dissolved (it is in a glass, although the cube is designed for 0.5 liters for broth). Pour oatmeal flakes into a bowl and pour them with the resulting broth. Hercules may be "extra", but I prefer the regular one. Wait a little while the flakes “take away” the water, and the mass cools down. Beat in the egg, mix thoroughly. The dough for oatmeal pancakes is ready. Itshould be the consistency of viscous sour cream.
Pour future pancakes into a heated pan with vegetable oil with a tablespoon, fry on both sides until golden brown (do not cover with a lid). Serve with sour cream. You can make a double serving at once, because oatmeal pancakes are usually eaten very quickly.
It takes very little time to prepare this dish, the cost is ridiculous. And most importantly, I have a hope that someday my children will remember with nostalgia: “Childhood. Weekend morning. Mom's oatmeal pancakes. Good morning!”
