Cream
A cake in the form of a book can have different tastes and textures, and they will depend on the cream chosen for the sweet literary work. You can take the usual oil cream. To do this, beat 250 g of butter with a glass of powdered sugar.

- Sour cream, boiled condensed milk and butter are whipped in the same proportion.

- vanillin.
Gelatin is soaked in water and cooked for half an hour in a steam bath. Lemon juice, vanillin, and if desired, a dye are added to it. Powdered sugar is gradually added to the bowl with this mass. Then the mastic is wrapped in cling film and left in the refrigerator for an hour.
Design
Designing a cake in the form of a book is quite simple:
- A chocolate cake is placed on a large rectangular dish.
- Top - a thick layer of cream.
- On top of the cream - white cake.
- The edges of the "book" are neatly trimmed around the entire perimeter.
- In the middle, a small indentation is made across the cake with a sharp knife.
- Cream again on top and sides.
- Mastic is rolled into a layer about 0.5 cm thick, the cake is covered with this layer on top. Excess edges are cut off. You can leave a thin ribbon of mastic to bookmark the book.
