Grated pie from lean dough is prepared according to the principle described above: grind the butter with flour, vanilla and sugar into crumbs, add quenched soda and water so much that the dough forms into a lump. Let him lie down for half an hour under a towel, and then divide into two parts, send one of which tofreezer. If there is no cranberry, then it can be replaced with currants or blueberries, as well as plums, mashed with sugar to a puree state.

If you want to cook a grated pie in an unusual way, then you can add a layer of meringue with raspberries to it. No one will refuse such a tasty treat. The dough is kneaded in the traditional way: from 150 grams of butter and 280 grams of flour, three tbsp. tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of soda, you also need to add three egg yolks, and leave the whites for meringue preparation. Divide the dough into two equal parts, send one to the freezer, and roll out the second on a baking sheet, making bumpers. The dough needs to be placed in the oven for 20 minutes so that it bakes a little. The oven temperature is 180 degrees.

While the baked base is cooling, prepare the meringue by whipping the remaining whites withthree tablespoons of sugar and vanilla. At the end of whipping, be sure to add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and 15 grams of vanilla pudding (dry mix) and one tbsp. a spoonful of unscented vegetable oil. Beat the mass again thoroughly and put on the baked first layer of the pie. Drown 200 grams of fresh raspberries in meringue, placing the berries evenly over the entire surface, and grate the frozen dough on top, following the classic recipe. Place the mold in the oven and continue baking for half an hour at the same temperature, let the cake cool completely, and then cut into portions for serving with tea.

As you can see from all the proposed recipes, there is nothing difficult in preparing this wonderful pie, and the options for fillings for it can be so varied that baking does not bother you at all, even if you cook it twice a week. The only negative of this dish is the high calorie content.
