The descendants of the court were able to develop success, and soon Mumm champagne became known in many countries of the world. Since the end of the nineteenth century, Mumm champagne has been considered one of the best drinks not only in France. It was also appreciated in many other countries. At the royal courts of Sweden, Belgium, England, this champagne was served. G. H. Mumm - the new name of the company in honor of one of the owners, which has survived to this day. Georges Hermann Mumm, sole heir to the founders, took over the company in 1853.

The manufacturer does everything tothe perfection of the terroir (growing conditions) of the grapes owned by the house. Most of the area where raw materials are grown is rated on the highest scale in the qualification of vineyards.

The production of a drink is a delicate and long process, thought out to the smallest detail. Each stage plays an important role, and quality control is carried out throughout the production. Champagne is harvested by hand. From each vineyard, grapes are stored separately, thanks to which the drinks are endowed with a complex structure of taste and aroma.

Within five months after harvest, the winemaker tastes the components of the drink, determining future varieties. Next, fresh raw materials are blended (combined) with reserve wines, which are infused in barrels for 2-4 years. The last step is to add a dosage liquor that determines the level of sugar content. After that, the drink is placed in a bottle and aged for several years.

Champagne Mumm Cordon Rouge is an elegant, discreet and flawless wine. A true classic with an unchanging style for over a hundred years. Despite the fact that the champagne is dry, its taste has a pleasant sweet hint of honey and caramel.
