- cognac - 50 ml;

"Clock" is an unusual salad, so we start preparing it not with the preparation of products, but with the preparation of the dressing. The garlic is peeled, pressed through a press and mixed with mayonnaise, a spoonful of cognac is added and set aside so that the components "get used" to each other. The amount of garlic can be varied according to taste preferences. The remaining cognac is diluted with water approximately 2:1. Prunes and raisins are placed in separate bowls and poured with the resulting liquid, left to infuse for at least half an hour. The salad is prepared in layers, so it is laid out immediately on a serving dish. It is better to prepare a flat plate for this. The bottom of it, if desired, can be covered with lettuce leaves. Carrots are peeled and rubbed on a medium-sized grater, mixed with raisins - this mass will be the first layer of salad. It is smeared with dressing and proceed to the next. The second layer will be grated cheese. To make this procedure as easy as possible, put the cheese in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. It is also smeared with garlic dressing. Prunes lightlysqueezed and crushed. The nuts are roasted in a pan and chopped with a knife into medium pieces. Boiled beets are peeled, rubbed on a grater and squeezed lightly so that there is no excess liquid in the salad, otherwise it will simply float. Prunes, beets and nuts are mixed - this is the third layer of lettuce. It should also not be forgotten to miss with garlic dressing. Next come the eggs. They are boiled and cleaned. Set aside two squirrels that will be needed for decoration. The rest of the eggs are finely chopped or grated. Lubricate with dressing. Egg whites are rubbed on top. Brush the sides of the salad with the remaining dressing and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
