The Moscow network "Kulinarnaya lavka Karavaev brothers" has grown to 32 establishments in less than a decade. In the culinary landscape of Moscow, where to sit down and eat tasty food means paying a lot at the same time, the shops stand out noticeably, combining soulfulness and accessibility.

Founder of the network Evgeny Katsenelson has extensive experience in the restaurant business. He talks about a number of important principles that underlie each of his establishments: being ready to take on any task, working directly with suppliers, preparing food properly and displaying it beautifully. All this allows us to supply our own products to such major Moscow chains as Yakitoria, as well as to grow without investing in marketing.
The chain has its own 1,000-square-meter production facility, from where baked goods and confectionery products are distributed to establishments, but some dishes are brought to readiness directly on the spot. At the same time, according to the waiting time for hotdishes, such as scrambled eggs, "The Shop of the Brothers Karavaevs" may well compete with fast food establishments. On average, each establishment of the network employs 15 people.

"The Shop of the Karavaev Brothers" combines a shop and a cafe. If there are seats, there are no waiters here, while absolutely the entire assortment can be taken away. The showcases feature a large number of various pastries, desserts, as well as salads, second courses and side dishes. The cafe offers fresh and tasty food according to familiar homemade recipes. Here they reproduce the culinary format familiar to many since the Soviet era, however, they are guided by the European concept of a variety of high quality affordable food. It can be said that the "Shop of the Karavaev brothers" is a homemade food store.
Despite the fact that during lunch breaks queues of office workers from nearby business centers accumulate in each establishment of the network, the Karavaev Brothers Lavka does not offer a special lunch menu. However, after 7 p.m. there is a 20% discount on a significant part of the assortment, in particular bakery products.
