Usadba Restaurant is a rather unique place that combines sophistication of relaxation with a high level of cuisine.

What happened before

Even back in the 17th century, the estate, called Bolshaya Slepyanka, belonged to the Radziwills. Some time later, namely at the beginning of the 19th century, it was sold to the Vankoviches. It was from that moment to this day that it bears its proud name - the Vankovichi estate. Initially, the house was made of wood, but it was gradually upset, and by the middle of the 19th century it had become a full-fledged brick house. Near the estate there was a beautiful large pond, alleys and dams. Almost until 1920, it was the Vankovichi who owned this entire estate complex.

The era of Soviet power brought with it a lot of experiences. This building has been repeatedly resold, re-planned. The office of the state farm, the potato-growing station, the combine and the Minsk school of the NKVD were located here. Later, the mansion was even used as a residence and a club. And 1981 brought peace to the house, because it was recognized as a monument of culture and history.

Usadba restaurant is a place that is created for people who appreciate haute cuisine and havepredisposition to exquisite relaxation. It is practically the only restaurant complex in our country that combines the culinary traditions of several countries, namely Pan-Asian cuisine, Austrian, Belarusian and German.

What happened to the estate

The Vankovichi estate is an architectural monument to this day. However, the designers have made some changes. Of course, the house was completely restored. Today, this luxurious two-story building includes a fashionable restaurant-club, which has ten halls.

These luxurious halls have already been used for banquets, luxurious weddings and corporate parties. More recently, the Usadba restaurant opened its doors to the general public. There is an interesting fact: ten million dollars were spent on the reconstruction of this architectural monument. I wonder what happened in the end?

Interesting Reconstruction Facts

Restaurant-estate Vankovichi on Filimonov began to undergo changes since 2009. The company "Univest-M" undertook the construction, which stated the fact that when it set to work, the Vankovichi estate was already in disrepair. This was expressed in the fact that almost nothing remained of the original layout.

To be more precise, in the original form, the stairs and gates had forged railings. The interiors of the 19th century were luxurious, the decor was rich and amazing, but, unfortunately, fromthis whole splendor is also nothing left. The floors were rotten, the brickwork was destroyed, the ceilings and walls were subject to deformation. In general, everything indicated that it was easier to demolish this building than to restore it, and to rebuild another one in its place. But the Ministry of Culture came to the defense of the architectural monument and insisted on its maximum preservation.

How the estate has changed

According to the designers themselves, the Vankovichi estate has acquired an almost original look, as it was in the 19th century. Of course, there have been adjustments as well. Accordingly, certain extensions were made, an elevator was installed.

According to the head of this large-scale reconstruction project Alexander Konovalenko, the estate was visited most often by the Belarusian intelligentsia. And if we take the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, then in those days the cultural life was literally seething here. It was this fact that became the basis for the restoration of the complex itself.

The Vankovichi Manor is a restaurant for people to have the opportunity of intellectual communication. Another important function of the complex is a high level of catering. After all, the guests of the estate not only communicate, but also dine.

First floor

Let's start with the front doors, they are metal and do not look very presentable, but this element will be replaced soon. Initially, the first floor was intended for the location of the bedrooms there. Now, after reconstruction, it includes two halls, which can accommodate forty people, andyou can try Pan-Asian cuisine.

The basement was also redesigned: if earlier there was a kitchen, now four halls of the Austrian-German orientation, in other words, with beer restaurants, have been placed there. The underground part of the complex includes a kitchen, ventilation rooms and other engineering systems.

Second floor

The Vankovichi Manor on Filimonov Street is a two-story complex that impresses with its rich interior. So, on the second floor of this complex there are ceremonial halls. Here you can enjoy Belarusian cuisine, and each of the rooms has its own unique historical name. The designers tried to recreate the decoration that people admired in the middle of the 19th century.

Ballroom is a room designed for exhibitions, literary readings. Almost everything was restored here, even the parquet was assembled from fragments that remained from those distant times. The decor is amazing, large paintings by the Wankovichs' contemporaries have been restored and returned to their places.

The Vankovichi estate, the photo proves it, has not lost its sophistication at all, except that it has become a little more modern after reconstruction. If we take a large dining room with a coffered ceiling, it has not lost its sophistication at all, because even the original drawing has been completely restored, thanks to the fact that descriptions of the ceiling have been preserved. The dimensions of the attic wereequipped, and an excellent attic floor with a banquet hall came out. The individual style of each room of this large restaurant attracts attention.

For whom is all this splendor?

As the reviews say, the Vankovichi estate, as it has been converted into a restaurant-club, will receive intelligentsia, people from high society. In general, all those who are financially well off can visit the estate. However, it is also possible to hold festive shows, parties, spectacular spectacles and various celebrations. Creative evenings and meetings will also be held.

The children are not forgotten here either. The staff of the manor is replenished with professional nannies who can look after the child. For this, a separate children's club has been created with various educational games and performances.
