What do you need to cook?

Cooking the first course
As you know, beans always take a long time to cook, so they need to be soaked in cool water in advance and left overnight. Then the legumes should be washed, poured over again with water and boiled until tender.
This will take approximately 1.5 hours. When the beans are soft, the burner can be turned off. And only now we begin to cook cod soup. Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut the potatoes into cubes, grate the carrots, and turn the onion into thin half rings. Next, blanch the tomatoes. To do this, wash the tomatoes, make two cuts crosswise on each of them. Boil water and pour boiling water over the tomatoes, leave for a couple of minutes. Then put them in cold water for a minute. Done - the skin from the tomatoes is removed almost by itself! After the tomatoes are peeled, they should be grated.

And start frying. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, send the onion there. After it has browned a little, add the carrots and fry for a couple of minutes until soft. Then add grated tomatoes there, mix everything and simmer forlow heat for 10 minutes, seasoning with s alt and pepper.
While the vegetables are stewing, grab the cod itself. The fillet should be washed and cut into small pieces. If there are some bones, it is better to remove them. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, then fill with water and let it boil. After a couple of minutes, add the bay leaf, beans and roast.
Last cooking step
Let it all cook together for about ten minutes, then throw cod into the soup. S alt, pepper, add your favorite spices and leave the cod soup with potatoes to boil over low heat for another 8-10 minutes. In the meantime, finely chop the greens and, if desired, squeeze out a couple of cloves of garlic.
Add all this to the soup, turn off the stove and cover the pot with a lid. Cod soup should be infused for at least twenty minutes. After that, he is completely ready! You can call your family for dinner and treat them to a fragrant, steaming, he althy and tasty soup. We wish you bon appetit!
