Cooking marzipan figurines

Take 2 colors of food coloring: red and green. From red we will make berries, from green - leaves.

Knead the marzipan by adding powdered sugar to it so that it acquires the desired elasticity. Divide the mixture into two parts. Mix one with red dye, the other withgreen. The dye must be added drop by drop and thoroughly knead after that, achieving uniform coloring.

Blind strawberries from red marzipan (what kind of Luntik cake without Luntik's favorite berries!), And from green - leaves and collect them together. They will decorate our cake.

Collecting the cake

Take the cooled biscuit cakes and thread each into 2 identical, thinner cakes. Then prepare a tray for the cake and lay the first cake on it. Lubricate it generously with buttercream, and put the second one on top and so on until all the cakes are soaked with cream.

Apply a layer of cream evenly on the top cake and smooth it out. Cream cake "Luntik" is almost ready!

Decorate the cake

For the "Luntik" cake, we need a finished image of a cartoon character on paper, which needs to be cut along the contour. It should not be larger than the diameter of the cake:

  • Put the resulting template in the center of the top cake and circle it carefully with a toothpick.
  • Remove the template, the silhouette should remain on the cake.
  • Draw eyes, nose, mouth, other important details.
  • Melt the chocolate and draw all the contours of Luntik on the cake.
  • Mix part of the cream with pink dye and carefully paint over our figure to make Luntik look like a real one. Color the eyes and mouth with the desired color of food coloring.
  • Mix part of the cream with a light green dye. Take a confectionery syringe, pump it into itthe resulting cream and using the star nozzle, snake it on the sides of the cake to make something like weed.
  • Put marzipan berries on the cake, sprinkle it with edible confetti, you can use sprinkles for Easter cakes.

Luntik cake is ready. Bon appetit!
