Do you know what culinary product is truly multifunctional? Guessed? Of course, these are buns with sesame seeds. The recipe for such bakery products can come in handy if you are a fan of fresh crispy pastries for breakfast. And even ready to eat it for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. By the way, for various types of sandwiches, as well as an accompaniment to the first or second courses, a sesame bun will also be good. But its main use is, of course, a hamburger (well, or a cheeseburger with a steamed chickenburger). So let's try to cook with you.
Sesame buns: the recipe is delicious, but which one to choose?
Of course, many of us are simply sure that tasteless hot donuts do not exist in nature. And all representatives of this culinary family are worthy of attention. But still … Which of the recipes is considered the best? After all, you can cook on the basis of yeast dough, or you can use yeast-free. In addition, there are some nuances in the ingredients and their proportions. Let's get into the details.
For burgers
Delicious sesame buns have long been loved by everyone as an ingredient for hamburgers, the recipe of which we got from the USA. Mandatory ingredients for this fast food dish are various sauces and seasonings, meat patties and, no doubt, sesame round bread products. Of course, now they can be found on sale in every self-respecting bread department or supermarket, but, you see, it is much more interesting to make a “hand-made”: the basis of a hamburger with your own hands. How to make your own buns? To do this, we need: a glass of milk, a couple of tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of s alt, a bag of dry yeast, one and a half glasses of warm water (or a little more: how much dough will take), 50 grams of butter, a little vegetable, a bag of sesame seeds. And, of course, flour, which you need to take six glasses.
Preparing the dough
- Pour a bag of yeast into a small bowl with warm water.
- Bring half a glass of milk to a boil and turn it off. Pour into a container. We add sugar and s alt there. And then add butter, mixing thoroughly.
- As the oil has dissolved, we combine the mixture with the yeast solution obtained earlier and stood a little. Caution: The overall mixture should be lukewarm, not hot, as at higher temperatures yeast cultures candie, and at low - do not develop as expected.
- Gradually, step by step, add flour to the mixture, kneading the dough well. It thickens right before your eyes, and when it becomes difficult to stir with a spoon in a saucepan, you will need to transfer it to a table sprinkled with flour and continue to knead with your hands. Tip: all the flour does not need to be added to the dough at once, the good principle "how much it takes", known to our great-grandmothers, works!
- Our dough should become elastic and stop sticking to our hands. Then it can be considered almost ready. Lubricate the semi-finished product with vegetable oil, cover with towels and send to a warm place for about an hour.
Baking
So that each sesame bun has the same size as the "girlfriends", from the dough that has already risen, increased in size, we will form equivalent balls. Approximately it turns out from 18 to 20 things. We spread our blanks on an oven tray sprinkled with flour (as an option - greased with oil). We leave free space so that each future sesame bun does not come into contact with those surrounding it, since these bakery products tend to increase significantly in size during baking. We cover the blanks with napkins, leave warm for an hour.
Next, grease the dough balls with the milk that we have left, sprinkle each with sesame seeds. The baking sheet goes into the oven preheated to two hundred degrees. We bake for an average of 15 to 20 minutes. You'll see when they're brownedshould be taken out of the oven. We cool the pastries a little and you can build burgers.
Unconventional recipe: with honey and milk
But to your attention a delicious and not quite traditional recipe for products with sesame: milk and honey. We hope it will not leave anyone indifferent. In order to cook such sesame buns in the oven, we need a few additional ingredients: one lemon with zest, half a glass of honey. The rest of the components remain unchanged.
Cooking easy
- My lemon and on a grater (fine) gently rub the zest.
- In a deep bowl, mix flour with s alt, plus lemon zest.
- Beat the eggs. Warm the milk slightly.
- The mixture of flour and zest is ground with butter. We introduce yeast (previously diluted if dry is used) and honey, plus most of the beaten eggs.
- Slowly add milk, kneading a stiff dough.
- Knead the bun dough until it is smooth and elastic. We cover it with napkins or a paper towel and put it in a warm place for an hour.
- After an hour, the volume of the dough approximately doubles. It is necessary to knead well again, and then we form 15-20 balls of equal volumes from it.
- Grease a baking sheet for ovens with vegetable oil (you can take any, but better - sunflower for frying or olive oil), lay out balls for buns on it and set aside in a warm place for a quarter of an hour.
- Preheat the oven well. Our future buns with sesame, in the ovenbaked, brush with the remaining beaten eggs and sprinkle quite generously with sesame seeds.
- Bake the buns in the oven for about a quarter of an hour until they are browned.
How to cool baked goods so that you can cook hamburgers immediately, for example, at a friendly party or picnic? This can be done on an ordinary kitchen grate. Then they can be lightly anointed with butter if you are going to use them as bread for the first and second courses, and put on a large wide dish. And if we use them as the basis for making famous American sandwiches, then we cut them in half and stuff them with everything according to the recipe.
