Preheat the oven to 210 degrees.

Beat softened butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, molasses and raisins in one bowl until smooth.

Bake about 15 minutes until golden brown. You can also focus on preferences - if you like soft pastries, then cook less, if crispy, then longer.

Preheat oven to 180 oC.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
