Mackerel is a wonderful fish worthy of respect and love. This moderately fatty marine life is good in any form: smoked, boiled, baked, s alted. How to pickle mackerel at home so that it is both tasty and beautiful? Read the recipe below. Lightly s alted mackerel is tender and much tastier than store bought.

This method has a little secret. The carcasses do not need to be thawed much: it is enough to be cut with a knife. A slightly different recipe. Mackerel
lightly s alted thanks to this, it is additionally marinated in its own juice, acquiring a special taste. Take:
- a couple of carcasses of frozen mackerel;
- half tbsp sugar;
- one and a half tbsp. s alt (regular medium);
- a dozen black peppercorns;
- heels of medium bay leaves;
- tsp "Vegetta" or similar seasoning with carrots.
So, cooking snacksmackerel slightly s alted. The recipe is simple and won't take long:
- Slightly defrost and clean the fish, remove the insides, tail and head. Dry with napkins, cut into pieces (up to 1.5 cm thick).
- Pour sugar, Veghetta, s alt, peppercorns into a bowl, add bay leaf chopped by hand, mix thoroughly.
- Sprinkle the pieces of fish evenly with the pickling mixture, transfer to a bowl, cover with cling film or lid.
- Send for a day in the refrigerator.
Slightly s alted mackerel: recipe in brine
An original yet simple recipe. Mackerel lightly s alted becomes
tastes like smoked fish. This effect is achieved by adding smoked prunes. There is a kind of processing prunes before drying. Stock up:
- three carcasses of fish;
- a couple of tablespoons sugar;
- a couple of large bay leaves;
- a dozen of allspice peas;
- 100g prunes;
- a couple of disposable black tea bags;
- 3 full (without a slide) tbsp. s alt.
Start cooking:
- Prepare the fish, put in a suitable container.
- Add prunes, peppercorns, bay leaf, broken by hand.
- Dissolve sugar and s alt in a liter of boiling water, lower the tea bags, let it boil for a couple of minutes, cool under the lid.
- Pour cold (!) brinemackerel, send "live" for a couple of days in the refrigerator.
- Get the fish out of the brine, wipe with napkins, grease with vegetable oil. Cut into pieces, decorate with pickled onion rings and serve. Lightly s alted mackerel appetizer (recipe with prunes) always tastes great.
S alted mackerel
Try this easy and quick recipe. Lightly s alted mackerel is prepared in just an hour and a half and always enjoys the same success on the festive table. Prepare the fish: remove the tail, head, cut along the ridge along the back, carefully (the belly must be intact) remove the insides and all the bones. Prepare a pickling mixture from a couple of tbsp. s alt, a couple of chopped bay leaves, a few chopped peppercorns, a quarter of tsp. Sahara. Sprinkle the fish in an even layer, wrap it in a roll, wrap it tightly with parchment, put it on a plate and send it to the freezer for 1.5-3 hours. It turns out fabulously tasty s alted mackerel.
