Strazek Restaurant

The institution is positioned as a restaurant-brewery. You can guess that beer is served here without even reading the signs: after all, right at the entrance there is a large barrel, and above it hangs a wooden beer mug the size of a bucket.

Beer barrels are widely used in restaurant interiors. Somewhere they replace the legs of tables, somewhere they hang from the ceiling as lamps. On the walls you can see painted barrels. And in one of the corners there is - like a real one - a rack with barrels.

The room can accommodate 265 guests at the same time. And it consists of two halls (for 200 and 65 seats). There is also a summer terrace that can accommodate 35 people.

Interior

The first room is designed in dark brown colors (chairs, tables, benches, sofas, floor, ceiling, panels to the middle of the walls, doors). The light green parts of the walls and ceiling slightly refresh the room. A large bar counter immediately attracts the attention of those who enter, as huge lampshades hang over it in the form of lids from classic wooden beer mugs.

The second banquet hall is much lighter, although the color scheme is the same. Here, the lower part of the walls imitates brickwork of stones of different shades. The ceiling is completely pistachio, and it is decorated with large multi-track chandeliers. Ancient coats of arms and modern monitors are hung all around. A lot of light is added to the space by panoramic windows with beautiful light curtains.

The painting on the walls is fun and original. It depicts knights, horses, dogs (holding mugs of foaming beer), a map of the Czech Republic, the brewing process in pictures. Even at the entrance and inside the restrooms you can meet funny characters.

Menu

The list of dishes includes a wide selection of Czech dishes. The most popular were: boar knee (knuckle soaked in beer), baked kahna with kminem (duck), Old Czech meatballs, capr in Jewish style, svichkova (beef in sour cream), panenske curls (grilled pork with bacon), gulashova vole (soup with meat), grilled greens (vegetables), meat salad "Strazhek", gillmarinated in honey cherry beer (pork ribs in beer sauce), apple strudel, sweet trio (profiteroles).

The menu card is beautifully and unusually designed (in the spirit of the pictures on the walls). The names of the dishes are written in Czech with a detailed description in Russian. There is a special section with dishes for companies. Many foods are suitable for baby food.
