The Cognac House Camus appeared thanks to the efforts of Jean Baptist Camus in 1863. After 7 years since the founding of the Camus company, the cognac of this company won the hearts of Europeans, after which the Russian market. Gaston Camus, one of the owners of this House, visited Russia regularly, while Emperor Nicholas II called him to hunt.

Interestingly, this French cognac house has a certain connection with Russia. So, in 1910, he supplied about 70% of his imports to our country. Almost 50 years later, a cooperation agreement was concluded with the USSR, which was in effect for thirty years.

There were reasons for this: it should be noted that the Camus house selects only the best part of the harvest for its drinks, a number of different family “tricks” are used during the distillation of wine into spirits. And the art of assemblage in it is passed down through generations - from Jean Baptiste to Jean Paul, today's head, and his eldest son, who continues the tradition, JeanBaptista II.

It is interesting that until now the house of Camus is a family-owned independent enterprise, and this despite the interesting proposals for its sale, which regularly come to Jean Paul. Camus V

This Camus is a cognac created especially for strong-willed, energetic and young people. Cognac spirits for this drink are selected in such a way as to emphasize the individual character and freshness. It will best reveal its qualities in cocktails with apple juice or tonic, as well as pure ice.

Camus Neon

Another Camus is a modern generation cognac that is intended only for a young audience. In this drink, the blend is designed so that it can be easily drunk in its pure form, as well as with fruit juices and ice. It has an intense amber color with deep golden hues. This Camus cognac was created especially for the tender half of all mankind. His assemblage is a combination of soft best spirits, aged for about 20 years. Hue - pale amber with a soft golden hue. This drink has a delicate bouquet with notes of vanilla, almond and violet against a background of subtle tones of chestnut.

Camus X. O. Superior

Company Camus cognac X. O. Superior considers it the calling card of the best drinks family. It combines the virtues of 150 cognac spirits, most of them at the same timecomes from the Border. The color of cognac is amber, with mahogany and golden hues. Aroma is fruity with hints of hazelnut and prunes.

Camus Extraordinare

At the XXX London Exhibition of Spirits and Wines in 1999, the expert commission unanimously recognized this drink as the best cognac on the planet. Its blend includes about 200 cognac spirits selected according to the criteria of aging, balance and richness, most of which come from the Borderies. This drink has an amber color with lively and deep golden reflections.

Camus Special Reserve

The creator of this cognac was Jean Paul Camus. It owes its originality, individuality and splendor to a blend of almost a hundred cognac oldest spirits from the storerooms, and its name speaks about this. Cognac has a sparkling amber soft color of medium saturation with a warm golden hue. Deep and full aroma is characterized by interesting tones of dried fruits among shades of cedar. Taste with a distinct "rancio" and a dry, great aftertaste.

Camus Extra

In 1987, at the competition of spirits and wines, this cognac was awarded the title of "The best cognac on the planet." Its blend is made up of cognac old spirits. The drink has a deep amber color with a soft golden hue. It is distinguished by mature aromas of cedar wood, leather with light hints of smoke. It attracts the taste with notes of honey and oak, followed by a dry, refined aftertaste.

Camus Reserve Extra Vieille Gold Marquise

This masterpiece is made from the oldest and finest Camus cognacs, some of which date back to the 19th century. Unique in taste characteristics, the drink is one of the rarest and most interesting examples of the Maison's creations. Camus Borderies X. O
