Surely every housewife bakes cream pies at least occasionally. In terms of tenderness, appetite and taste, they are not inferior to cakes, but they are prepared much easier and faster. To create them, you can use ready-made dough or a semi-finished base. But even if you prefer completely homemade cream pies, they still won't take much of your time. Such pastries can be made even on a weekday after work.

Sunny treat

First, try baking a citrus cream pie. First, the cake is made. For him, 100 grams of softened butter are rubbed with two (with a slide!) Spoons of sugar. An egg yolk and two tablespoons of very cold water are introduced into the mass. After diligent kneading, a glass of flour is poured in parts. The dough is kneaded quickly so that it is not too tight. It is distributed in a greased form (do not forget about the sides!). The form is placed in the refrigerator for half an hour. Behindthis time the filling is being prepared: the zest is removed from the lemon and orange, the juice is squeezed out of them (add one more orange to the total number of citruses). Three eggs, one protein and two-thirds of a glass of sugar are beaten until foamy. The zest is poured into the mixture, the resulting juice is poured, and it is whipped again. Next, two tablespoons of starch and 60 gr. melted and slightly cooled butter. Another whipping, and the cream is poured into the mold. The dessert is placed in the oven for 35-45 minutes. It should be eaten cold.

Peanuts and chocolate

If your family loves cream pies, it's best to have more of them in your recipe box. And it is desirable - fast-executing. In case guests unexpectedly arrive or the children suddenly want sweets. Chocolate cream pie can be attributed to “quick hand” delicacies: you don’t even have to bother with flour under its base. A pack of cookies (corn is recommended, but you can take another) with a glass of toasted peanuts is ground with a blender. The mass is stirred with four tablespoons of margarine until a crumbly dough is obtained. Most of it is lined with the bottom and walls of the mold.

200g chocolate bar is melted and whipped with a can of condensed milk, a glass of milk, a third of a glass of peanuts and two eggs. The cream is poured into the base, and the mold is placed in the oven for forty minutes.

Cream pie with lemon

For him, it is better to use a ready-made test. Yeast puff is best. Half a kilothawed dough rolls in two layers. One is lined with a baking dish, the second, smaller, is cut into strips. For the filling, four or five lemons are ground directly with the skin and mixed with six tablespoons of sugar, one of flowing honey and three of starch. The resulting cream is poured into the mold. On top of it, a lattice of strips is laid out, fixed on the sides of the dough, the excess is cut off. The mesh is smeared with a beaten egg. If you want a brighter shade, separate the yolk and use only it for smearing. The oven heats up to 180 Celsius; the cake is placed in it for half an hour, and after cooling it is crushed with powdered sugar and decorated with mint leaves and lemon slices.

Raspberry Pie

Berry toppings make amazing cream pies. In the summer, when fruit abundance is everywhere, you can regularly indulge your family with similar delicacies. In Sweden, for example, they love to bake a raspberry pie in the summer. Often it is replaced with strawberries, and sometimes both berries are mixed. The dough for such a pie is prepared without much difficulty: 150 grams of well-chilled butter are chopped into crumbs, combined with two tablespoons of sugar, the same volume of cold water, an incomplete glass of flour and a large spoon without a slide of soda. A loose loose dough is kneaded, a basket is laid out from it inside the mold, and the base is hidden for half an hour in the refrigerator. When the dough is ready, the base is baked for 12 minutes at 200 degrees.

Cream is being prepared: a large egg is beaten, two thirds are added to its foamglasses of sugar, a glass of fat sour cream and vanilla. A quarter of a kilogram of raspberries is laid out in the seized base, and cream is placed on top of it. After 35-40 minutes, the cake is taken out, cooled, covered with a layer of raspberries and sprinkled with powder.

You can put other berries with fruits in cream pies, as long as they are juicy. If there are bones, it is better to take them out first.
