Even people who don't consider themselves gourmets are unlikely to refuse to end their meal with something sweet. And for children, such an ending is almost not necessary. And if ice cream, cold drinks and various jellies are especially popular in summer, then with a cold snap, hot desserts come to the fore. Even if they are eaten already slightly chilled. And warm, and saturate, and delight the taste buds.
Ingredients of hot desserts can be very different. Often a variety of fruits are used for sweets - and such desserts are considered the most harmless to the body. There are also heavier treats like cakes. In general, every sweet tooth will find in this abundance something to their liking and stomach.
Banana Paradise
Bananas are so delicious on their own. But hot desserts with their participation are more interesting. Moreover, even fruits that have lost their presentable appearance are suitable for them.
Bananas are peeled and cut. Fragments should not be too small,so that they do not fall apart during cooking. A large banana is cut into no more than four pieces. In a large cup or bowl, a small spoonful of vanillin and a quarter tablespoon of dark rum are combined. Six tablespoons of oil are melted in a frying pan (enough to cook four bananas). Half a spoonful of cane sugar and a little cinnamon are stirred in the oil. In this mixture, bananas are fried for half a minute on each side. Ready fruits are mixed with vanilla rum and eaten immediately.
Apple Delight
Even more popular is the preparation of hot desserts from always available apples. Even just baked in the oven, they already cause salivation. And if you add a few nice additions, then the delicacy will seduce even the ascetic.
A kilogram of apples with dense pulp is peeled and medium-sized cut. Cortland and Gala varieties are especially good for baking. However, others will also give a good result. Apple slices mix well with the juice of a large lemon, two tablespoons of cinnamon and a third glass of sugar (again, it is better to prefer cane). "Glaze" should envelop each piece. The form is placed in an oven, the temperature of which is brought to 2000 Celsius. The dessert is baked for half an hour with occasional stirring.
Fruit Happiness
Fruits can also be used to make complex hot desserts. Moreover, you won’t have to bother much: the cooking process is still not too complicated.
Four largepears are washed well and dried a little. With a knife, the middle is cut out of each. One hundred grams of dried apricots, washed and chopped, are mixed with the same amount of raisins (take the one that is pitted). Pears are filled with this mixture and put into a baking bag. It is placed in an oven with a temperature of 180 degrees for a quarter of an hour. Then the dessert is taken out of the bag, poured over with caramel sauce or any syrup and served to homemade sweet tooth.
Sweet fondue
However, hot desserts can be made not from fruits. If you appreciated the Swiss cheese fondue, it means that you have already managed to purchase an apparatus for its preparation - a fondue maker. If you do not have one, any thick-walled dish will do. Chocolate is melted in it on the quietest fire, black or white - as desired. It can be flavored with spices: cinnamon, vanilla and even cloves. And then tiny buns are taken, dipped in the resulting "sauce" and eaten with great pleasure.
Apple Crumble Recipe
Charlottes and other apple pies are probably baked by every housewife. But few people know about the crumble. Meanwhile, the recipe deserves the closest attention: this dessert is very similar to a pie, only it consists of crumbs and has a unique taste. In addition, traditional pies are sometimes more difficult to prepare than apple crumble. The recipe calls for caramelizing fruit first. To do this, a kilogram of apples is peeled and seeds, and then cut into medium cubes. ATa deep frying pan melts half a pack of butter (100 grams). It stirs about half a glass of sugar (150 grams), a spoonful of cinnamon and half - ground nutmeg. Apple cubes are poured into the bowl and, with continuous stirring, are enveloped in syrup for about ten minutes.
Now the second ingredient is the crumb. Well-chilled butter (the remaining half a pack) is finely chopped and ground with half a glass of flour. Then sugar and almond flour are introduced - half a glass each. Grinding is repeated until the whole dough looks like bread crumbs, and large formations break.
The baking dish is generously smeared with butter and lightly sprinkled with flour. Caramelized apples are laid out in it; the resulting liquid is also poured out. From above, this joy is sprinkled with crumbs, and the surface is neatly leveled. Sometimes it seems that there is a lot of testing, but this is a deceptive impression. The form is placed in the oven for 45 minutes (or until the crumble is golden).
Pudding is delicious
Great Britain is famous for these desserts. The most traditional among all the abundance is milk pudding. Among our hostesses, there was an opinion that puddings are very difficult to prepare. However, everything in this world is surmountable. As it turns out, not only Englishwomen can make a pudding. A teaspoon of gelatin is soaked and left to swell. Two yolks are vigorously beaten and kneaded in half a glass of milk along with two tablespoons of starch.
Pouring into a saucepanmilk remaining from a half-liter package, sugar (two spoons), swollen gelatin and vanilla are added to it. The mixture is heated very quietly until everything is dissolved. Then the last mixture (milk / starch / yolks) is poured in, and the base is cooked for a couple of minutes, with leisurely but constant stirring. Then the milk pudding is poured into molds, covered (for example, with cling film) and put in the refrigerator for two hours. Before serving a treat, it is sprinkled on top with grated chocolate, coconut flakes or crushed nuts. And you can pour jam or honey.
Bay
Bulgarians also love hot desserts. And the most popular one is “bukhti”, delicious cottage cheese donuts. Moreover, children love to eat them, and mothers love to cook: bays are made very simply. A pack of cottage cheese is kneaded with a glass of flour, a spoonful of soda and three eggs. Cottage cheese is better to take not granular or wipe it through a sieve. A large amount of vegetable oil is heated in a deep bowl or saucepan. The mass is collected with a spoon and lowered into deep fat. The bays are fried very quickly. When they become beautiful brown, they are removed and placed on a napkin to eliminate oil. And for more deliciousness, donuts are either sprinkled with powdered sugar or dipped in hot syrup or melted chocolate.
