Process Description
At the initial stage, you need to dopreparation of the so-called icing. It is made from pre-sifted icing sugar and beaten egg whites into a dense foam. To make a deliciously light “House” cake, the recipe of which will be considered right now, you should audit your refrigerator in advance and, if necessary, purchase the missing components. Before you start cooking, make sure you have on hand:
- 305 grams shortbread.
- 105 milliliters of pasteurized milk.
- 55 grams of granulated sugar.
- 65 milliliters low-fat sour cream.
- Half a kilo of cottage cheese.
- 35 grams of cocoa.
Cooking technology
To make a really tasty and tender “House” cake made from biscuits and cottage cheese, you should strictly adhere to the recommended ratio of components. In one bowl, combine low-fat sour cream and sugar. The cottage cheese is also sent there and beat with a blender until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
A sheet of foil is placed on the table and four cookies are laid out in one row, previously having been in a bowl of warmed milk. Distribute the curd-sour cream mass on top and carefully level it with a knife. Place another layer of biscuits on top and brush again with the sweet mixture. This is repeated four times.
After that, the remaining curd mass is combined with cocoa and spread on top of the cookies. Do this so as to form a triangle. Shortbread cookies are placed on top in the form of a roof, the future “House” cake is wrapped in foil and sent to the refrigerator. This recipe is interesting because it involves the use of gelatin. It can be used to make a delicious and easy cookie cake without baking. "House" will just need to be kept in the refrigerator. In order not to interrupt the process in search of missing products, you need to conduct an audit in your kitchen in advance and purchase all the required components. You should have:
- 715 grams of low-fat cottage cheese.
- 205 milliliters of cream.
- 205 grams of sugar.
- Half a pack of butter.
- 125 grams shortbread.
- Vanillin sachet.
- 20 grams of gelatin.
Sequence of actions
In one bowl combine cottage cheese, granulated sugar, a small amount of cream and vanillin, previously rubbed through a sieve. Beat everything well with a mixer until a homogeneous creamy mass is obtained and set aside for a quarter of an hour.
While the mixture is infused, you can do the gelatin. It is poured with the remaining cream and sent to a water bath. After the crystals are completely dissolved, it is cooled, added to the curd cream and whipped again until a fluffy consistency is obtained. After that, the dishes with the mixture are covered with a lid and put in the refrigerator for a quarter of an hour.
Finely crumbled biscuits are combined with pre-softened butter, rubbed well in the palms and tightly packed on the bottom of a parchment-lined form. Spread curd on topcream, smooth, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator. After three hours, dessert can be served.
Option four: exquisitely delicious
As in all previous cases, in order to prepare the “House” cake, you should go to the nearest supermarket in advance for the necessary purchases. Your list must include:
- 800 grams of cookies.
- Half a kilo of cottage cheese mass.
- 200 milliliters of milk.
- 30 grams of butter.
A bar of milk chocolate and 150 grams of hazelnuts will be used as additional components.
Cooking algorithm
In order for you to get a delicious and light “House” cake, you must strictly observe the above ratio of products. On a table covered with plastic wrap, spread a layer of cookies measuring three by four pieces. Beforehand, each of them is dipped in warm milk for a couple of seconds.
Spread a layer of curd on top of the biscuits and gently level. This is repeated two more times. As a result, you should have three layers. Half of the existing hazelnuts or any other nuts are placed in the middle. After that, with the help of cling film, a house is formed, carefully lifting the edges.
A broken chocolate bar is placed in a small saucepan, sent to the stove and melted over low heat. In the same bowl, add a little butter and milk. The resulting glaze is poured over the house,decorate it with nuts and put the almost ready dessert in the refrigerator. Two hours later, the cake is transferred to a beautiful dish and served.
