Chocolate house wine

This wine has a long historyhistory. England is considered its homeland. It was there that at the beginning of the eighteenth century they prepared such an alcoholic drink: they mixed red wine or port with sugar and chocolate.

Home winemaking now also has chocolate wine: the recipe for its preparation is not much different from the production of an ordinary fruit and berry alcoholic drink. Just at a certain point, roasted and finely ground cocoa and sugar are added to the bottle. And when the wine is ready, it must be well filtered. The result is an inexpensive but very tasty homemade chocolate wine.

Also, natural homemade wine can be enriched with chocolate flavor if the must is insisted on the pulp. There are tannin substances in this solid base of grape berries. They give the finished product a thick taste of chocolate. Among industrial wines, wines such as Cabernet and Sauvignon have this taste.

Chocolate hue can be given to homemade wine if it is infused in a barrel subjected to special roasting. This wine has a delicate aroma of chocolate.

And here is the recipe for chocolate liqueur. We grate two 100-gram bars of bitter chocolate, put it in a saucepan, add one and a half liters of vodka, a pinch of vanillin. Mix well, close tightly and leave for one week, shaking occasionally. After a week, cook the syrup (300 ml of water, 2 cups of milk, 1 kg of sugar).
