At first, the berry mass will sizzle, then the juice will begin to flow. Further mixing should be continued with a wooden spoon. The sauce will cook for 15-20 minutes, during which time it should thicken.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and take the blender. Pour about 1/3 of the resulting syrup into a separate bowl and beat until a puree is formed. Pour the resulting mixture back into the saucepan and put the berry mixture in the refrigerator.
